To your enemy, forgiveness.
To an opponent, tolerance.
To a friend, your heart.
To a customer, service.
To all, charity.

Nine come back from the breakers!

At last I have found a couple of decent breakers who have done an awesome job with the youngsters. There are nine more to go and then we'll start on the three year olds.

I am scheduled to have my next hip replacement at the end of June and need some help. Anyone interested in coming up to ride some horses?

The babies are growing up!!! :(

January - Welcome 2010 & new chapters!

I can't believe how fast Christmas came and went! I didn't even finish decorating the tree :(
2009 feels like ages ago already, which I am quite glad about. I have finished my work in the UK and now this year is going to be about getting ESB , Gold Fields and Team ESB into shape and operating more efficiently and cost effectively, as well as getting myself a 'bionic' body!

One of the first steps in this process was the formation of the Gold Fields Equestrian Club Inc and running our inaugural camp and clinic. The team went into turbo boost afterward Christmas to prepare for the January camp and clinic. We even built more cross country jumps and painted more show jumps.

The week was a great success and we all learnt so much. The ESB babies all behaved during the clinic and Lucky even learnt how to swim. All the new foals are growing up beautifully and losing their fluffy foal coats in patches - it looks so funny. The other youngsters are starting their awkward stages of growth and development but the four year olds are looking super and I feel excited that ESB has still the best yet to come.

I am sooooooo lucky to have Stephen Rogers and Jeff Dunn here from the USA, as well as Angela, Paul and Ed around to help out for the next few months while I go into Shepparton hospital (Goulburn Valley Health) on Jan 27th for my Total Hip Replacement. Right side first and then the left after 3-6 months of rehab. So I will be pretty restricted for a good part of the year, which will mean I can make time to focus on a few projects which have been on the back burner as well as become a better blogger!
